We have always considered Lola as our house. Every day we throw a party, we line up the music we know our friends will love, polish the silverware, check the temperature and the lighting and then create the most delicious food and crisp cold cocktails ready for immediate consumption when our guests arrive. Brent’s Place is also a home, a home to the thousands of cancer patients and their families who have walked through their doors. Each day they make sure that they have provided a sterile living environment, the opportunity for cancer patients to stay with their families and that they can easily get to treatment centers. Together Lola and Brent’s Place are Dos Casas, two houses that open their doors day after day hoping to give back to the community in whatever way they can. On April 20th, 2011, we will open our house for a night amazing food and drink by Denver's top chefs and the chance to open more doors for cancer patients; to make it possible for Brent’s Place to offer their services to more children in need. Joining the celebration is Jamey Fader from LOLA, Sheila Lucero from Jax Fish House, Matt Selby from Vesta Dipping Grill & Steuben's, Goose Sorensen from Solera, Brian Laird, Tyler Wiard from Elways Cherry Creek, Sean Yontz from El Diablo, Troy Guard from TAG, Brandon Biederman from Steuben's Food Service, Pete Marczyk from Marczyk Fine Foods, Alex Seidel from Fruition & Fuition Farms and Keegan Gerhard from D Bar Desserts.
